AMT is seeking a committed mission minded person to lead the team in Brisbane at AMT’s national office.

AMT ( is the mission arm of the churches that belong to the Christian Brethren/Christian Community Churches of Australia. AMT partners with these churches to educate, motivate and facilitate Christians for global mission and offers assistance to missionaries and their sending churches. We need someone with mission experience and a heart for missionaries to serve God as the CEO of AMT.

The successful candidate will have cross cultural ministry experience, and an ability to assess the current state of missions, and seek God’s guidance for a vision and direction for AMT. They will have leadership skills and experience, and a pastoral heart for mission workers. They will be sympathetic to and understand the Christian Brethren and CCC Australia community in Australia, or be willing to learn.

The successful candidate will also need to be commended to this ministry by the local church that they attend.

Position Vacant – Finance Manager

AMT is seeking a committed mission minded person to complete its team of support staff as part of the national office team.

AMT ( is the mission arm of the churches that belong to the Christian Brethren/Christian Community Churches of Australia. AMT partners with these churches to educate, motivate and facilitate Christians for global mission and offers assistance to missionaries and their sending churches. We need someone with a heart for missionaries to serve God in this position.

Our team is looking for a person with accounting and administrative skills to oversee the accounts and ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements.

This position will require someone with enthusiasm and understanding of mission issues, and a commitment to ensure integrity and excellence in AMT’s operations.

The position is for 2 days a week, and may suit a retired person. It could be done from outside the office, though regular travel to Brisbane at least quarterly would be essential. It would require regular updates and communication with the AMT CEO to whom this position would report. It would also require regular liaison with and advice for the accounts personnel where required.

Faith Community Church

Seeking Youth & Children’s Coordinator

Reports to: FCC Elders
Date of Commencement: Term 1
Probation period: 6 months
Based at: Faith Community Church, Glenmount Rd, Buderim, QLD 4556
Hours: 24 hours per week (to be worked flexibly including weekends)
Salary level: Commensurate with the role and previous experience

The Faith Community Church (FCC) Youth and Children’s Coordinator role is a PART TIME Permanent position. The Coordinator will be engaged for 24 hours a week. During this time the Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:


1. Teach and lead our children and youth to know Jesus and make Jesus known

2. Develop and deliver a vision and strategy for youth and children at FCC in collaboration with current leaders and elders, finding innovative and contextual ways to do outreach, discipleship and build community amongst the young people

3. Prepare devotional material for each programme throughout the term

4. Coordinate and assist other leaders in preparing activities (craft / games) for each programme, including outline of rules and sourcing resources with funds allocated

5. Communicate and collaborate with the leaders of each programme to coordinate, develop and deliver the programmes for each term
a. Providing the above-mentioned material in good time before each session
b. Hearing feedback and making necessary changes to material to improve the outcome

6. Communicate with parents of the youth/children involved in each programme
a. Providing information of what is coming up and any actions they need to take to prepare for the programme

7. Build and maintain a roster of leaders for each children’s and youth programme

8. Be rostered on periodically throughout the year to assist with the youth and children’s programmes

9. Mentor, train and equip leaders by providing training or source appropriate training programmes so they can grow and improve in leading the different youth and children’s ministries. Ensure each leader has done basic “new leader training” and the required Child Safe training.

10. Work with our FCC Blue Card manager to maintain a register of all leader’s Blue Cards and ensure all details are valid and up to date.

11. Pray regularly for our FCC youth, children and families

12. Social Media of Youth / Children’s ministries – posting, maintaining and monitoring the social media accounts for these ministries – as an avenue for advertising and sharing information


In addition to fulfilling the above responsibilities the Coordinator is expected to:

1. Have a personal salvation relationship with Jesus Christ
2. Be consistent and diligent in personal devotions and prayer
3. Live a life that honours God to the best of their ability
4. Be an active part of Faith Community Church including attending Sunday services regularly
5. Attend monthly Business Meetings (7pm, 2nd Monday of each month) at FCC
6. Attend the FCC youth and children’s programs unless indicated unavailability
7. Attend and support the Renewed evening service (approx. once a term)
8. Be involved in Church Camp (usually October / November)
9. Assist with the Christmas Carols programme in December
10. Seek to develop and expand the kids and youth ministry in line with the purpose and goals of Faith Community Church in collaboration with kids and youth leaders under the leadership of the church elders.


The Youth and Children’s Coordinator will be provided with an office space and basic resources in order to complete the above outlined tasks. The Coordinator will report to the church Elders on a regular basis including a diary of hours and tasks completed for each week.


The applicant must fulfil the following requirements to be considered for the role:
1. Qualifications: minimum of Cert IV in Youth Ministry (or similar) or be currently in the process of completing the coursework for the qualification or prepared to undertake the study of such a course in order to be equipped for the role
2. Have a valid Blue Card (Queensland’s Working with Children Check)
3. Be familiar and up to date with Child Safety Policies

The following are preferred but not required:
1. Have prior experience in a similar role
2. Have a valid First Aid Certificate
3. Open drivers’ licence
4. Car with comprehensive insurance

Seeking Youth Coordinator

Grovely Christian Community Church is an intimate family of believers looking to bring onboard a young, energetic, innovative youth coordinator to run and coordinate the children’s and youth ministries.
This will be a part time role, 20 hours per week, commencing in January 2020

The Successful applicant will be willing and able to create an environment for the youth of our congregation to gather regularly, growing in their relationships with each other and with God. They will also be involved heavily in community engagement opportunities.

The three main aims of this position are:
1. Facilitate growth in the youth’s relationship with God.
2. Encourage strong community among the youth of the church.
3. Local community involvement / engagement

The primary tasks of this position will be to develop and implement a comprehensive, autonomous approach to Youth ministry. This comprehensive approach is based on the understanding of the primary task of the youth coordinator including:
· disciple the youth and young adults into a personal relationship with God in both large group and smaller relational environments.
· grow the youth ministry by creating attractive and compelling environments to which our youth can invite their friends, and by being present in the community.
· teach the youth and young adults the Gospel and what that requires from them
· provide them with opportunities for nurture and growth
· show Jesus’ love through modeling
· challenge the youth and young adults to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities and world
· equip the current youth to share the Gospel with their friends
· build a ministry that engages with the local community.
· Run and coordinate the primary school and high school youth groups.

Winmalee Christian Conference Centre is seeking a Manager. Our goal is to continue to provide excellent service to our guests in a safe environment. We wish to achieve this while ensuring that Christ is glorified through the work of the Conference Centre.

To be content in the working environment of Winmalee Christian Conference Centre you will need to be an active Christian, have a passion for Christian Camping, fully embracing the Mission Statement, Ethos, Aims and Objectives of the Conference Centre. Your attitude to detail in every area of guest service should be of a high standard. Pride in the site and facilities would drive you to improve and maintain the site at an excellent standard. The ability to work and live closely with others is essential.

This role could suit a couple (one fulltime and one casual) or a person (fulltime). Each case would be considered individually and determined on the best outcomes for the Conference Centre. This role should be considered missional and not as a career opportunity.

The role is comprehensive and involves all areas of the Conference Centre’s duties including guest care and catering, maintenance, administration, project management. You will be supported by an Assistant Manager and casual staff.

  • Relationship Skills: Create an atmosphere where guests feel welcome and cared for under all circumstances. To work in harmony with full time and casual staff and in dealings with delivery personnel and contractors.
  • Guest Care and Catering: Provide appropriate care so guest groups feel free to run their retreat programs. The ability to be comfortable running a commercial kitchen, to provide suitable catering and to manage the dietary needs of the group.
  • Communication: Clear communication between you, staff and the Board is vital.
  • Administrative tasks: Including (but not limited to) efficient, polite answering of phones, responding to bookings and general enquiries. High computing knowledge, accounting knowledge (Xero), booking program use (Venue360), record keeping, social media competency, marketing, budgeting, child protection knowledge, rosters, employment of casuals,
  • Property Care: WH & S awareness, safety audits and correction of risk areas, adhering to compliance requirements and accreditation requirements (NARTA). Any practical skills would be an advantage.
  • Policies: All duties are to be performed within the policies of the Conference Centre.
  • Training: Willingness to do training where require eg First Aid, Child Protection, Xero, Venue360, Food Safety Supervisor or Food Handling, Chainsawing, Welding, Test and Tag etc. (Note: not all of these are required as they may be covered by the Assistant Manager). To be supportive of Christian Venues Association by attending CVA events where possible.

Remuneration package and benefits negotiable and includes accommodation on site. The package is reviewed annually effective from 1 July each year.

Music Director and Young Adults/Youth Worker.

Music Director:

  • Must be a competent musician with the necessary skills set
    and personality to create and lead a church band.
  • To cater for all musical needs in the church and events for creative

Youth Worker:

  • To participate and build our young adults group.
